The Zenith Global Citizenship Conference

UPDATE: Zenith 2010 is hiring soon! Check out in July for more details.

On May 14th 2009, the second Zenith Global Citizenship Conference, an initiative designed to build leadership and inspiration among youths between the age of 15 and 25, will take place at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, Surrey, BC. Co-organized by the Richmond Youth Foundation, this day-long event will engage high school students, university students, and young businesspeople in themes relevant to today’s youth development of brighter global citizens.

Zenith is defined as the highest point directly above a location. After attending this conference, we are confident that the delegates will have gained the skills and motivation to reach their own zenith’s, and leap to heights that may have once seemed unattainable. Youth will thus be inspired to unleash their potential and advance their philanthropic career.
Zenith 2009 will focus on the following four themes:

  1. International Development
  2. Human Rights
  3. Environment
  4. World Peace

Furthermore, we will be encouraging youth to collect pledges and donations for ShelterBox Canada. The cost of each box is $1200.00, and each box provides dry shelter, warm bed, light and heat, clean water, cooking aids and tools for 10 people affected by disaster.
