Donations to the Richmond Youth Foundation are gifts that keep on giving and growing. This is because all donations are put towards our endowment fund, which is a sum of money that collects compounded interest. The money we grant out is the interest generated from the endowment, and the principal amount is never spent. Therefore, even if no further contributions are made to a fund, the power of endowment creates a permanent source of funding.

We encourage donors to start their own RYF endowment fund to support a cause of their choice. Interest generated from that particular fund will only be used to support projects serving the cause for which the donor intended. In this way, the donor will leave a lasting legacy built upon their own passion.
